SEIS INVESTMENT ROUND
BUILT BY WOMEN. FUNDED BY WOMEN.
This isn't just a funding round.
It's a movement.
We're looking for purpose-led women who don't just want to change how perimenopause is navigated; they want to own a piece of that change.
Women who:
believe that technology can be a force for good.
are excited about backing something mission-driven and commercially ambitious at the same time.
have networks, knowledge and passion that they're willing to bring to the table, not just capital.
who will open doors, make introductions, share our story, and champion us loudly.
stand beside us as long-term advocates as we grow.
If that's you, then consider this your invitation.
Capital at Risk Warning
Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest.
This is a high‑risk investment and you are unlikely to be protected if something goes wrong.
THE RESEARCH
Women are spending a fortune, and still not getting the care they need.
For too many women, perimenopause arrives without warning, without adequate support, and without the medical recognition it deserves. Waiting lists are long, appointments are short, and symptoms are often dismissed. Without the right data, even the most informed woman can struggle to advocate for herself in a ten-minute GP consultation.
MenoVida exists to change that. Our symptom-tracking app gives women the tools to understand what their bodies are telling them by logging patterns, identifying triggers, and building a clear, evidence-based picture of their health over time. So that when they do get that appointment, they arrive with data, not just a description. With evidence, not just a feeling.
Better data leads to better conversations. Better conversations lead to better care. That's what we're building, and that's what your investment funds.
According to research by Clearpay, reported in The Independent, the average annual spend on perimenopause symptoms is £1,800
How will MenoVida support GP’s?
MenoVida is being built in close collaboration with the medical community, because we know that better outcomes for women depend on better conversations between women and their GPs.
Here, Dr Kathryn Patrick shares why symptom tracking matters and how it can make a real difference within a 10-minute appointment.
Kathryn is a frontline NHS GP of over 20 years, holds the British Menopause Society's Advanced Certification, and serves as Director of Primary Care for Somerset Foundation Trust. She delivers around 500 menopause appointments a year across both the NHS and private sector.
She is joined on our Health Advisory Board by Dr Sarah Gray,, who spent nearly 40 years in women's health including leading an NHS menopause clinic, Christine Duffy, Queen's Nurse, Advanced Clinical Practitioner and British Army Reserves Nursing Officer, currently completing her PhD in women's health, and Dr Liz Leigh-Firbank, a specialist Nutritionist and Product Development Expert with over 25 years of experience.
Together, we are building a tool that simplifies symptom tracking, reduces mental load, and gives both women and their GPs the clarity they need, removing the postcode lottery and ensuring better outcomes for all women, wherever they are.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Only 14.1% of UK angel investors are women*. MenoVida wants to change that, while also changing the menopause care that too many women are still navigating alone.
If you've navigated perimenopause yourself, or supported someone through it, you'll recognise the frustration: appointments that feel rushed, symptoms that are poorly understood, and the exhausting work of advocating for yourself without the data to back you up.
Millions of women are living this right now. MenoVida exists to change that.
We simplify symptom tracking and management, helping women connect the dots between symptoms, lifestyle, and the interventions that work for them, and generate a personalised GP report so every woman can walk into her appointment ready to be heard.
Better data. Better conversations. Better outcomes.
This is impact investing in the truest sense: backing a business that solves a problem you know matters, structured so that HMRC actively supports your risk.
We're not just looking for investors. We're looking for women with lived experience who want to advocate for change, making things better for those navigating this life stage today, and for those who come after.

Questions …
-
An angel investor is an individual who invests their personal wealth into early-stage companies in exchange for equity ownership.
-
Beyond the investment itself, we're looking for women who want to be part of what we're building. That means believing in the mission that women navigating perimenopause deserve better tools, better data and better conversations with their healthcare providers. It also means being willing to share that belief with the people around you.
Our ideal Angel investor is someone who would like to be more than a shareholder, someone who is a true ambassador. Someone who is comfortable talking openly about her own health journey, who champions better female healthcare in the workplace, community or within her network, and who understands that being part of MenoVida's founding investor community offers so much more, in addition to the potential financial return.
We're also looking for diversity of experience. Every different perspective will help us build something that truly serves the diversity of the women who need it.

The SEIS scheme was created by the UK government to help mitigate some of the risk associated with early stage investing.
Many of the most valuable investors in any early-stage business are the people who understand the problem most deeply.

SEIS stands for the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme, a government-backed initiative designed to encourage investment into early-stage UK businesses by offering significant tax incentives to investors.
Here's what it means in practice for an investment in MenoVida:
50% Income Tax Relief — You can claim back up to 50% of your investment against your UK income tax bill. e.g., invest £10,000, get up to £5,000 back from HMRC through your self-assessment tax return. If you receive the full 50% back then your real out-of-pocket cost becomes just £5,000.
Capital Gains Tax exemption — If MenoVida grows and you exit your investment, any profit you make is completely free from Capital Gains Tax. The upside is entirely yours.
Loss Relief — If the investment doesn't succeed, you can offset a significant proportion of any loss against your income tax, further reducing your real-world exposure.
To claim SEIS tax relief you need to be a UK taxpayer who completes a self-assessment tax return. If you're unsure whether this applies to you, we'd always recommend speaking to an independent financial adviser.

Investing in any early-stage business carries real risk, and MenoVida is no exception. The value of your investment can go down as well as up, and in the worst case, you could lose the capital you invest. Early-stage businesses can face challenges and not all succeed.
That said, there are two things that meaningfully reduce the risk profile of this particular investment.
First, SEIS is specifically designed to share your risk with HMRC. The tax relief and loss relief provisions mean your actual financial exposure is considerably lower than the headline investment figure.
Second, investing in a sector you genuinely understand, where you can evaluate the problem, the solution and the market from lived experience. This puts you in a strong position to evaluate whether this is the right investment for you, your financial position and the problems you'd like to solve as an investor.
We'd always encourage you to read the full investment memorandum, seek independent financial advice if you need it, and invest only what you can afford to commit / potentially lose.

SEIS is one of the most investor-friendly structures available in Europe, precisely because HMRC actively shares your downside risk. Here's how that works in practice.
If you invest £10,000 and claim your up to 50% income tax relief, your effective net investment is £5,000.
If MenoVida were then to fail entirely and your investment lost its full value, you could additionally claim loss relief against your income tax, depending on your tax rate.
This doesn't eliminate risk, and we don't want to minimise the importance of investing thoughtfully. But it does illustrate why SEIS is considered one of the most protected ways to invest in early-stage businesses in the UK, and why the government designed it this way.

Every pound raised in this round goes directly into building and promoting the MenoVida app to support women navigating perimenopause.
Specifically, funds will be directed towards continued product development and refinement of the app, building clinical partnerships that give our data and insights credibility with healthcare providers, growing the team, and investing in the community and advocacy work that sits at the heart of everything we do.
As an Angel investor, you'll receive regular updates on how the business is developing, our financials, and all the other milestones that matter: the women who finally got the diagnosis they needed, the healthcare partnerships secured, and the product features built.
You won’t be a passive bystander. You'll be part of our story.
