Dr Sarah Gray
GP and Women's Health Specialist
Dr Sarah Gray is a specialist GP who has spent nearly 40 years delivering Women’s Health in the GP setting. She offers a holistic approach across the lifespan and believes passionately that we should treat patients as individuals. Some patients have seen her for over three decades as testament to this!
Sarah led a specialist-level NHS menopause referral clinic in Cornwall for 15 years until it was decommissioned in 2016 to reduce costs. Having retired from the NHS, she now runs St Erme Medical, which provides general practice as well as both women’s health and occupational health at a specialist level.
Over the years, she has been involved with many national organisations, including NICE* and the GMC**. She continues to provide education and training through the Primary Care Women’s Health Society and the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.

Dr Kathryn Patrick
GP and Women’s Health Specialist
Dr Kathryn Patrick has been a frontline NHS GP for over 20 years, gaining a distinction in her MRCGP in 2005. She has always had a special interest in women’s health, having completed her DFFP in 2005. She holds the British Menopause Society’s Advanced Certification, delivering approximately 500 menopause appointments per year, and has experience in doing so within both the NHS and private sector.
She also has vast experience in public speaking, delivering educational sessions on women's health, including menopause; for fellow clinicians, patients and organisations from the Royal Navy to the Royal Shakespeare Company amongst others.
In addition to her clinical roles, Kathryn works in a leadership position in Somerset as the Director of Primary Care for Somerset Foundation Trust, supporting better collaboration between primary and secondary care, including in the field of women’s health.

Christine Duffy
Advanced Clinical Practitioner & Women’s Health Advocate
Christine Duffy is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience across Africa and the UK. After two decades in the NHS—working in ICU, elderly care, and now General Practice—Christine discovered a passion for women’s health. She holds a British Menopause Society Certificate in Menopause Care and provides holistic consultations to support women through this important life stage.
Currently, Christine is undertaking a PhD exploring Black women’s experiences of strength training during menopause, driven by her own journey and a need to address health inequalities.
Outside Christine’s NHS role, she serves as a British Army Nursing Officer, educating troops on menopause and its impact on health and fitness. She recently secured Sport England funding to launch a menopause walking group in Derbyshire, promoting community health and wellbeing.

Dr Liz Leigh-Firbank
Nutritionist & Product Development Expert
Dr Liz Leigh-Firbank is a Nutrition Scientist with a PhD from the University of Reading and over 25 years of experience in nutrition, covering nutrition research, nutrition communication, food and supplement formulation and product development for global brands including Unilever and Mondelez.
As a qualified Nutritionist who has personally navigated perimenopause, Liz brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and lived experience to women's hormonal health, and is passionate about empowering women with evidence-based knowledge during their menopausal transition.
Through her practice, Leigh-Firbank Consulting, she advises companies and individuals on product development and nutrition strategy. She also provides personalised coaching that combines rigorous scientific understanding with genuine empathy for the challenges women face.
Liz’s approach addresses the whole person - examining sleep, stress, nutrition, and lifestyle rather than isolated symptoms. Bridging complex nutrition science with practical, real-world wellness, Liz passionately advocates for women seeking reliable support through this life stage.
