SEIS INVESTMENT ROUND — NOW OPEN
On average, women spend £1,800 a year managing perimenopause symptoms.
We think that same amount could do something more.
Research reveals the true cost that women carry when navigating perimenopause without adequate medical support. We've set our minimum SEIS investment at £1,800, and HMRC gives up to half of it straight back.

THE RESEARCH
Women are spending a fortune, and still not getting the care they need.
A survey of 2,000 women who have experienced perimenopause or menopause symptoms reveals a pattern that will feel familiar to far too many. Every year, women spend significant sums on products and treatments to manage their symptoms, not because they want to, but because the healthcare system too often leaves them to navigate this transition alone, without adequate diagnosis, support, or data to advocate for themselves.
“Women are spending an average of £1,800 a year to combat perimenopause and menopause symptoms, on products and treatments, because they’re not getting the medical support they need.”
— The Independent, 2024 / Clearpay research survey of 2,000 women
That £1,800 isn’t a luxury spend. It’s a coping mechanism. It’s what women are paying out of their own pockets to fill a gap that should never have existed. At MenoVida, we’re building the symptom tracking platform that helps close that gap, giving women the data they need to have better, more productive conversations with their healthcare providers. We believe that the same £1,800 could be used to help build the solution, not just manage the problem.
UNDERSTANDING SEIS
SEIS: The Government’s way of saying women should invest too.
The Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme was designed to make early-stage investing accessible to everyone, not just wealthy professionals.
Here’s exactly what it means for you.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF INVESTMENT
What if that £1,800 also built you equity?
Women have always found ways to support their own health, and that resourcefulness deserves recognition. But there’s a question worth asking: what if the average amount women are already spending on managing their symptoms could do something more?
MenoVida’s SEIS round starts at £1,800, giving you equity in the business transforming perimenopause care, with significant tax advantages that could mean your real outlay is as little as £900.
