September Newsletter

Our early access waitlist is now open to members of our community

Goodbye September, hello October. Menopause Awareness Month starts tomorrow, but we couldn't wait. The MenoVida early access waitlist is open today!

Over the next month, we're looking for our first cohort of women who'd like to be part of our journey. We're building something that we believe will change how women navigate perimenopause and beyond.

Hello October

With documentaries like ITV's menopause scandal currently dominating women's health news, the scale of the problem is hard to ignore. Women are still struggling to get the right help and support, within a medical system hasn't been built for the complexity of this life stage.

Symptom tracking with a doctor's report won't fix everything, but it will support better conversations in a 10-minute appointment and help drive better outcomes.

So we need your help to shape it, test it and tell us what really matters as we prepare for our public launch early next year.

If you're already part of our community, there’s an e-mail in your inbox.

If you’re not, sign up to join us, and we’ll share more details. Places are limited.

MENOVIDA NEWS

Join the waitlist (via our community).

We'd love you to join if you're 18 or over, living in the UK, and either:

  • Starting to feel something isn't right. Perhaps you're experiencing new symptoms, or have a few that don't seem connected, and you're wondering if it could be perimenopause.

  • Already in perimenopause, menopause or postmenopause and just want to feel like yourself again.

If you’re navigating this stage of life, you might be tired of:

  • Adjusting your HRT and never being sure whether it's working, or which symptoms have actually improved since you last changed the dose, type, formulation, or manufacturer!

  • Spending a fortune on vitamins and supplements with no real way of knowing which ones are making a difference.

  • Trying to make lifestyle changes when your body feels like it has a mind of its own, and not knowing whether anything is helping!

  • Leaving doctor’s appointments feeling like you couldn't quite explain what's been going on, even though you've been trying to memorise all your symptoms and what you’ve tried, because 10 minutes just isn’t enough! Especially if you’ve got brain fog, anxiety and can’t sleep.

WOMEN'S HEALTH NEWS

As October is Menopause Awareness Month, here's how you can get involved. You don't need to organise anything big. Small things make a difference.

  • Share a post or a resource with someone who might find it helpful

  • Start a conversation with a friend, family member or colleague

  • Share your story; if you feel comfortable, tell someone what your experience has been like

  • Join a local or online event

  • Support a charity doing important work in this space:

  • Sign up for research — UCL My Menopause Brain is looking for participants to help understand how perimenopause and menopause affect the brain

Every conversation helps shift the dial.

World Menopause Day — 18th October

This year's theme is chronic pain at midlife. With millions of women experiencing joint pain, muscle aches, migraines, pelvic pain and conditions like fibromyalgia during the menopause transition, it's more common than many people realise. It shows up differently for everyone, and it's still too often dismissed or left unaddressed.

If you're living with ongoing pain, it's worth raising with your GP. We don't have to accept it.

Events

Menopause Awareness Month matters, because every woman who shares, speaks up or simply tells someone what she's been going through makes it a little easier for someone else.

Best wishes,
Jo & the MenoVida Team 🌸
