Driving the FemTech revolution. Our raise has hit its goal.
Nine investors, a growing team, and a second round opening soon!
Exciting times!
As you read this, the paperwork for the first phase of our investment round is being signed. Nine investors. £100,000 raised. We’re so grateful for the belief, the alignment with our vision, and the support and encouragement that has got us here. We couldn't be more motivated to get building.
To our early investors, a very big thank you.
If you've been watching from the sidelines and wondering whether to get involved, the good news is it’s not too late.
As always, there's plenty happening in the wider world of women's health too.
MENOVIDA NEWS
Now the real work begins!
We're thrilled to welcome the team bringing MenoVida to life, each with their own professional expertise and lived experience of perimenopause.
Laura Phillips is leading product management, bringing her natural curiosity and love of problem-solving, along with experience at companies including John Lewis and Ocado, to take us from prototype to working product.
Dr Kathryn (Kayt) Wiederman is leading marketing, combining her medical knowledge, femtech passion and commercial expertise in a way that is genuinely rare, helping us build the foundations to scale and grow.
Tara Rogers joins us as our UX/UI designer, ensuring every screen and interaction feels right for the women using it. She's the voice of the customer who isn't in the room.
The second phase of our round opens very shortly, and we already have over ten expressions of interest. So if you've been thinking about it, you can find out more here www.menovida.app/seis-investment-opportunity
WOMEN'S HEALTH NEWS
Take five minutes. Your voice matters.
Menopause Mandate, chaired by Mariella Frostrup and backed by the UK Government, is now in its fourth year of surveying women about their experiences of menopause. This year, the focus is on menopause in the workplace and the findings will directly shape future healthcare and employer policy.
The numbers from previous surveys are stark. 97% of women reported experiencing symptoms. Only 14% learned about menopause from a healthcare professional. And 50% spent over a year trying to make sense of what was happening to their body.
Your voice helps change that. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share it with other women.

New augmented reality technology for endometriosis surgery
Researchers are developing AR-assisted tools to help surgeons more precisely identify endometriosis tissue during laparoscopic procedures. Early results suggest real improvements in both diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes for a condition that still has no cure. So we wanted to share. You can watch a demonstration here.
AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
One of the things we're most proud of at MenoVida is the community of women who champion this mission alongside us. This month, four of our ambassadors have something worth sharing, from milestone achievements to a conversation we think you'll want to be part of.
Angela Wilkins-Green and Sarah Knight — Free Webinar
If the title "Everyone Assumes You're Fine" resonates with you, this one is for you. Angela and Sarah are hosting an honest conversation about transition, identity, confidence, perimenopause and what happens when life and work shift at the same time. No slides, no simple answers. Just a real conversation about experiences many women are having but rarely talk about openly.
Tuesday 14th July at 11am BST. Free to attend. Register here

Emma Lindley MBE — 70 Mile Ultra Marathon
Emma recently completed an ultramarathon, and her reflection on it says everything about the women in this community:
"For me, this was less about running 70 miles and more about stepping outside my comfort zone and discovering what's possible when good people support each other. The biggest lesson wasn't physical. It was mental. When things get tough, attitude matters more than almost anything else."
As always, thank you for being part of this community. Every share, every conversation and every introduction moves us forward.
Best wishes,
Jo & the MenoVida Team
