Momentum is building. Join our Changemaker Community

"We've hit the ground running in 2026! From our fundraising accelerator news to our community launch …

What a start to the year! We've been accepted onto the Female Founders Rise Fundraising Accelerator. Two hours every week learning about the fundraising process, building our Purpose, Vision, Mission and Position, and navigating the many hurdles ahead. We'll launch our investment round in February, with opportunities for our community to invest. We're making it financially accessible to more women because the more women who invest, the more we disrupt the status quo ;-)

This Month We Launched Our Changemaker Community

Join us here

We already have 41 members and it's growing.

Speaking to amazing women over the past two years, one constant theme emerges: so many of us want to be part of the change we want to see in Female Health.

We also know that one of the biggest challenges with app technology is getting it into the hands of the women who need it most. So we're approaching things differently.

We're more than just an app, we're helping to drive a movement. We're looking for innovative ways to problem solve, going back to the basics of communication, connection, and community. We're also intentional with our actions and driven by purpose ✨

If this resonates, we'd love you to join us. Huge thanks to Angela Wilkins-Green for leading this and to all our Ambassadors and Advisors who are providing the momentum 🧡

Meet Our New Ambassadors

Our Ambassador Programme has grown since the last newsletter! We’re now also joined by Andrea, Caroline, Julia, Kate, Kathryn, Sarah, Sonia, and Vicki.

You can visit our website to learn more about each of them. They've shared what they bring to our mission, why this matters to them, what drives them, and their advice.

Here’s a snapshot, and we'll feature more words of wisdom each month:

What I Bring "With over 30 years in communications, I bring lived menopause experience and insight into encouraging better, more confident conversations with GPs." Vicki Harper, Senior Director, PR & Comms | Health & Technology

Why This Matters to Me "Because I know how isolating and frightening unexplained symptoms can be. No woman should struggle in silence the way I did." Lucy Bingle, Global LinkedIn Strategist

What Drives Me "I'm inspired daily by my patients, as well as by healthcare professionals and organisations who want to learn and support their communities." Dr Sam Morgan, GP, Registered Menopause Specialist Doctor and Yoga Teacher

My Advice "Listen to your body, track your symptoms, and don't dismiss changes. Knowledge gives you clarity and power.”
Angela Wilkins-Green, Executive & Transformation Coach

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

As we head into February, it’s important to remember that cervical cancer awareness shouldn't be seasonal. It CAN be eradicated in our lifetime.

Three important steps to take:

  • Book a screening appointment when invited

  • Get your HPV vaccination when eligible

  • Know the signs and symptoms

Check out Dr Sesay's post and video for more details.

Momentum is Building

Menopause has been hitting the headlines over the last few months, and real change is happening:

  • The NHS is adding menopause to the 40+ health checks (long overdue, but definitely progress!)

  • Australia's getting innovativeRaisa Monteiro and Johanna Wicks are creating an irritation-free estrogen patch to combat supply issues and give women more choice. It's the first innovation in this area in over 20 years! Learn more at loraihealth.com or visit their crowdfunding page

  • The FDA (US) and other regulators are reversing decades-old warnings against hormone therapy (MHT/HRT), confirming that benefits for symptomatic women often outweigh risks, especially if started within 10 years of menopause onset.

Change is happening… slowly but surely.

Onward and upwards!
