Meet the team
Jo Mavridis - Founder
Jo’s inspiration for creating MenoVida stems from her life long battle with hormones and lived experience with PMS (premenstrual syndrome), IVF (in vitro fertilisation), a hysterectomy and early perimenopause. This journey has given Jo deep insight into the complex health challenges so many women face during their lifetime. To help navigate perimenopause, Jo has found symptom tracking crucial, but existing tools lacked the flexibility and holistic view that she needed. Through a number of online menopause communities, she discovered many women felt similarly lost and unsupported.
Jo is now determined to design and build a mobile app to help women better understand their health and advocate for themselves at an incredibly difficult, and often misunderstood, life stage. Jo’s 25 years working in technology marketing, business know-how, and her passion to create a positive social impact has led her to this new path of entrepreneurship and FemTech.
